My Testimony

From my childhood I have known the scriptures. My mother read me Bible stories and taught me songs about Jesus. At an early age I learned to love Jesus. During my teen years Jesus went to the top of my list of friends. When I was 12 years old I publicly declared I accepted Jesus as my Savior by being baptized.

Throughout my adult life I have sought to have a relationship with Jesus and desire to know His word. After the death of my daddy, and some years later my step-dad followed by my father-in-law I became more needy of a Father who would not leave me. God has become very real to me as I’ve cried out to Him for comfort, strength, understanding, and nurturing love.

In the Bible I can read the testimonies of men and women who had an experience with God. Some are written by those who walked and talked with Jesus while He lived on earth who tell what they have seen and heard. Since the Bible is the inspired word of God these witnesses who knew Jesus can be trusted. They spoke and wrote the truth about the Christ.

In this garden section I want to share Jesus and Father God from my own experience in hope that you will desire to seek Them and know Them personally. “You shall seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart,” God says. (Jeremiah 29:13) Jesus declares, “This is life eternal that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John 17:3
