Glimpses of God
Amid the history, poetry, prophecy, letters, and stories of the Bible God is revealed. To know God is to love Him, fear Him, and trust Him. His character is a subject of eternal proportions and unfathomable depths. The further I plunge into the pages of holy writ seeking to know my God and His Son Jesus the more in awe I become.  We can never understand all there is to know about God and Christ, but it feeds the soul to search, grasp, and internalize the word pictures scripture gives us. As you spend time in this garden may you come to know the God who loves you. 
God is all knowing.
“Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! ‘For who has known the mind of the LORD? Or who has become His counselor? Or who has first given to Him and it shall be repaid to him?’ For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever.” Romans 11:33-36
God is all wise.
“Incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding. Search for her as for hidden treasures. Then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright.” Proverbs 2:2, 5-7
God is all powerful.
“Blessed are You, LORD God of Israel, our Father forever and ever. Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty; for all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and You are exalted as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You reign over all. In your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.” 1 Chronicles 29:10-12, in a prayer of David.
God is present everywhere.
“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.” Psalm 139:7-10
God is love.
“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!”
1 John 3:1
“Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty!
Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!
Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy.
For all nations shall come and worship before You.
For Your judgments have been manifested.” Revelation 15:3, 4
“Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise,
be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Timothy 1:17

Both Scripture and nature reveal Him. “The word of the LORD endures forever. Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.” “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead.” 1 Peter 1:25; Romans 1:20
