God’s Kingdom of Love
There is a kingdom of love where God’s children play,
Dancing, praising, singing in the sunshine of each day.
In this glorious kingdom the Prince is always there,
Talking with the people about the King who cares.
In this place of beauty where love is everywhere,
Aboundeth joy and laughter, and all the work is shared.
Sometimes come tears and crying for love strikes a tender touch
To the children’s heartstrings—yes, love can hurt so much.
Because the Prince was willing to lay down His precious life,
The kingdom has been secured from hatred, greed, and strife.
In this blood bought kingdom of God’s amazing grace,
The King holds out His scepter with a smile on His face.
He welcomes every person into love’s fair kingdom,
Bestowing His rich blessings of true peace and freedom.
Security and happiness are mine as I live here,
In the kingdom of God’s love with those I hold most dear.
I delight in all the glories given by God’s hand.
And praise Him for His goodness in love’s perfect land.
Together with God’s children I rejoice and shout and sing,
Worshiping the Prince of Love, my Redeemer and my King.
