              Prayer Garden

Prayer is talking to God as to a friend.
You can unburden your heart into His
    listening ear,
knowing He understands.
    Meditating on God’s love,
His goodness,
and His kindness will help lift
troubled thoughts into realms of praise.

“Come unto me, all ye who are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest,” Jesus invites.

    Pray about everything, and remember
to thank Him for the answers.
    Give praise to God
    in your moments of meditation.
Tell Him what makes you happy.
Share with Him the special moments,
making a memory with the Savior of your soul.
True joy is His answer to the
    whispered wishes of your heart.

        “Whatsoever ye shall ask the
        Father in my name,
He will give it to you.
Ask, and ye shall receive, that your
        joy may be full.”

Whatever difficulties you are experiencing,
Jesus is praying for you.
Regardless of the trials you are suffering,
know that Jesus unites you prayer with His.
The intercession of our faithful Jesus can move mountains.
His prayers will give relief to your soul
and flood your spirit with peace.
Lay all your burdens at His feet,
and leave them with Jesus.
He knows what to do with them,
and will be working for the good of every situation.

“Let us come boldly unto the throne of grace,
    that we may obtain mercy,
and find grace to help in time of need.”

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything
by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known unto God.
    And the peace of God,
    which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds
    through Christ Jesus.”

“If ye then, being evil, know how
to give good gifts unto your children,
how much more shall your Father which is in heaven
give good things to them that ask Him?”

    Your Father knows what things
you have need of before you ask Him.”

    Jesus prays for you.
“Father, I’m not asking you to remove
    my children from the world,
but that you would keep them
from the evil that is in it.
Sanctify them through the truth of your word.”
