The Truly Blessed

The Truly Blessed

“Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in His commandments.” Psalm 112:1

“Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity and in whose spirit there is no deceit.”
Psalm 32:1, 2

Life is just hard at times.
It seems that the wicked prosper and those who obey God’s commandments have terrible trials.
God pours out spiritual blessings even when it seems physical ones are fewer than desired.
He promises to bless us with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
As God’s child I am truly blessed.

“Blessed are those who have not seen Me and yet have believed,” Jesus tells us. John 20:29

“Blessed are those who put their trust in Him (the Son).” Psalm 2:12

“Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD!
Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart!”
Psalm 119:1, 2

“Blessed is the man whose delight is in the law of the LORD
and in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water
that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither;
and whatever he does shall prosper.”
Psalm 1:2, 3

“Blessed is the man who You instruct, O LORD, and teach out of Your law,
that You may give him rest from the days of adversity until the pit is dug for the wicked.
For the LORD will not cast off His people, nor will He forsake His inheritance.”
Psalm 94:12-14

“Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways.
When you eat the labor of your hands you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.”
Psalm 128:1, 2

To those who are followers of Christ, laboring with Him for souls, a special blessing is given by Christ.

“Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage.”
Psalm 84:5

“Blessed are you who sow beside all waters.”
Isaiah 32:20

“Blessed are you when men hate you and when they exclude you, and revile you,
and cast out your name as evil for the Son of Man’s sake.”
Luke 6:22

“Blessed is that man who makes the LORD his trust,
and does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.”
Psalm 40:4

“Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved,
he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”
James 1:12

The truly blessed are those who do God’s commandments, and their dwelling place will be with God.
They may sleep in death before Jesus comes for those who love Him,
but they rest from their labors and are not forgotten by God.

Blessed are they that do His commandments that they may have right to the tree of life,
and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:14

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Matthew 5:3, 8

Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!
Revelation 19:9

Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection.
Over such the second death has no power.
Revelation 20:6

Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on,
that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.
Revelation 14:13

“Behold I am coming as a thief.

Blessed is he who watches and keeps his garments,
lest he walks naked and they see his shame.”
Revelation 16:15
